As part of the Foundation’s objective 'To encourage New Zealand school leavers into tertiary education and technology', scholarships are offered annually for the purpose of assisting with university costs.
2015 Scholarships - six scholarships valued at $4,000 each, open to application in 2014 from Students in Years 12 or 13, for study commencing in 2015 in any of the following IPENZ-accredited degrees:
- Three-year Bachelor of Engineering Technology – BEngTech
- Four-year Bachelor of Engineering – BE
- Four-year Bachelor of Engineering Honours – BE (Hons)
Scholarship awardees are chosen on the basis of their intention to pursue engineering as a career, motivation to succeed, academic merit, general character and contributions to the community.
The IPENZ Foundation Scholarship application portal has now closed for new registrations in 2014.
