Jim Bradley wins Engineering Leadership Award

Jim Bradley, top sustainability player at MWH NZ Ltd, is the winner of the William Pickering Award for Engineering Leadership 2005 for a glittering career of key management positions. The award is sponsored by The Institution for Professional Engineers New Zealand Foundation.

Jim received his award at the inaugural New Zealand Engineering Excellence Awards held at Wellington’s Duxton Hotel on Wednesday, November 23.

Marked by his visionary approach and boundless energy, Jim is one of New Zealand’s leading practicing professional engineers in the fields of wastewater, water and solid waste management. He has built a strong reputation as a campaigner for sustainable development and clean technology having given national and international papers and lectures.

Jim is no stranger to tributes and the William Pickering Award will join his collection alongside the 2004 IPENZ Supreme Technical Award for Engineering Achievers in Sustainability and Clean Technology.
